Instructions β Anti-Bark Collar KANIVORA
Follow this guide to set up your collar and train your dog gently, without any pain.
Important β Read before use
The KANIVORA anti-bark collar is an educational tool, not a punishment. It works through gentle vibration and sound signal β with no electric shock. Always start at the lowest sensitivity level and increase gradually.
Getting started in 5 steps
Step 1: Charge the collar
Before first use, fully charge the collar for 2 hours using the supplied USB cable. The LED turns green when charging is complete. Battery life is 7β14 days depending on use.
Step 2: Turn on the collar
Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. The collar beeps and the LED flashes to confirm activation. The collar is now in detection mode.
Step 3: Adjust sensitivity
The collar has 5 sensitivity levels. ALWAYS start at level 1 (the lowest). Increase gradually if the collar doesn't trigger when your dog barks. A level that is too high will trigger the collar at any noise β that's not the goal.
Step 4: Fit the collar
Place the unit under the dog's throat, centred. Tighten the collar so it is snug but comfortable: you should be able to slide one finger between the collar and the neck. The sensors must touch the skin (move the fur aside if necessary).
Step 5: Let your dog adjust
For the first few days your dog will discover how the collar works. It's normal if they still bark at first β they're learning. Most dogs understand in 3β7 days that barking triggers an unpleasant vibration (but no pain).
The 3 training modes
Sound Mode
The collar emits a beep when it detects barking. Ideal for sensitive dogs that respond well to audio cues.
Recommended for: Calm, sensitive dogs, small breeds
Vibration Mode
The collar produces a gentle vibration (like a phone) when your dog barks. No pain at all β it's simply an unusual sensation that interrupts the barking.
Recommended for: Most dogs, all sizes
Combined Mode (Sound + Vibration)
The collar first emits a warning beep, then a vibration if barking continues. This is the most effective mode as it gives your dog a cue before the correction.
Recommended for: Stubborn dogs, frequent barking
Understanding sensitivity levels
The collar has 5 sensitivity levels. These are NOT intensity levels β it's the sensitivity of the built-in microphone.
